Curvention's Mission is to commemorate full figured women through arts, entertainment, and fashion.  Our goals are:​

• To challenge the dominant culture that promotes unhealthy body image and self esteem through the showcase of beauty and talent from a variety of cultures, backgrounds, and sizes.

•  Work with community activists, business owners, and artists to raise awareness of harmful images and messages surrounding plus sized women and youth.                                  

• Help participants to develop self-esteem based on qualities other than physical appearance by affirming individual characteristics, accomplishments, growth, and talents, as well as their contributions as a member of the CURVENTION team.  

 
CURVENTION is more then just a show; it is a MOVEMENT!
